Orange County HomeGrown is an all-volunteer, non-profit, tax-exempt, community service organization. Our mission:
To promote the small-town neighborly values, the natural forests, the cultural and recreational opportunities, and the healthy family farms that make Orange County an attractive place to live, work, play, raise a family, start a business or retire.”
Orange County HomeGrown grew out of a desire on the part of many citizens of Orange County, Indiana, to develop a positive vision for their community and to take action to realize that vision.
That vision has developed into the Orange County HomeGrown Farmers Market every Saturday in the Orleans Park and every Wednesday in West Baden. That vision has developed into Orange County HomeGrown Arts sponsoring live, local music concerts in Paoli and Springs Valley throughout the summer. That vision is initiating the development of the Lost River Community Cooperative, expanding healthy and local food choices for Orange County residents.
